Modicon© 984 Programmable Controller Four-Axis Linear Motion Control Modules

The MMC188/40 family of motion controllers are intelligent linear motion control subsystem for use with the Modicon© 800 Series I/O. The family consists of the MMC188/40 and the MMC188/41.

The MMC188/40 module provides a highly integrated solution to control the position of four servo axes with MDT feedback.
The MMC188/41 has both MDT and analog feedback interfaces and has four inputs and outputs of digital I/O. Each of the four axes can be programmed to operate in position and/or pressure control modes.

Diagnostic Program

Provides utilities to calculate motion parameters scale, offset and direction
Allows user to activate simple motion profiles from a keyboard
Permits user to change control parameters from a keyboard
Displays parameter and status information for multiple axes
Saves and retrieves graphic diagnostic information to disk
