Delta joins Mitsubishi e-F@ctory Alliance

October 10, 2014, — Battle Ground, WA — Delta Computer Systems, Inc. announces their new membership in the Mitsubishi e-F@ctory Alliance due to Delta’s focus on electro-hydraulic servo motion control applications.

The Mitsubishi e-F@ctory is the Mitsubishi Electric solution for improving the performance of any manufacturing enterprise providing three key benefits: Reduced total cost of ownership, Maximized productivity, and Seamless integration. Delta’s value is to add best in class hydraulic motion control for applications requiring +/-10V analog outputs to hydraulic valves and for inputs such as SSI feedback.

Delta’s Family of RMC Motion Controllers is applied when hydraulic or pneumatic closed-loop position, velocity, pressure, or force control is part of the project. The RMC controllers are used in a wide array of single and multi-axis testing applications and in industries such as packaging, automotive, aerospace, plastics, metals and forest products and others. Delta’s RMCTools software features flexible User Programs with an extensive command set, including robust mathematical expressions, setup wizards, automated loop tuning wizards and an intuitive Plot Manager for graphical or visual diagnostics.

As part of this alliance, Delta provides a Quick Start Guide with a basic project example and a structured project example with function blocks and Input and Output arrays for communicating between RMC motion controllers and Mitsubishi PLCs via Ethernet UDP or TCP.

Mitsubishi Alliance

"Delta is pleased to begin a formal association with the e-F@ctory alliance as we continue to support demand for closed loop electro hydraulic motion control in North America and International markets," stated Steve Nylund, Delta’s CEO. "A combined system approach taking advantage of Mitsubishi PLC capabilities and our motion control expertise can give customers the best in class solution they seek," Nylund added.
